What We Do
The Knights of Columbus’ foundational mission is charity, and secondly to strengthen Catholic faith. Brother Knights engage in a variety of charitable fund-raising activities and offer their time and talent to worthy causes that benefit both the community and the church. They annually contribute more than 7000 service hours. In 2021 and 2022 combined, Council 12956 donated a record $21,000.00 to local charities, as well as making financial contributions to our parish.

When, Where and Why we Meet
Council Brothers meet every first Tuesday of the month at 7pm at St Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, located at 9724 Cross creek Blvd, Tampa (New Tampa), Florida 33647. One-hour meetings briefly cover routine business, leaving the bulk of time to various guest speakers, fellowship, networking, and light refreshments. There is an optional Rosary prayer service conducted by the Brothers at 6:30pm, just prior to the start of the meeting. Dress is casual. Various activity committees meet at different times throughout the month. Each member has the opportunity to decide which activities and events are of interest to them for participation.
